Where We Began

TYRUS Health was founded in 2019 by Bridgett Sammon. With a career in healthcare spanning over 26 years, she witnessed firsthand how revenue cycle companies from small to large were not living up to their service level agreements and commitments to their clients. She knew she could do better.

Bridgett Sammon

Founder & CEO

Our CEO started out in the healthcare industry back in 1997 as an administrative assistant to the director of a physician organization. The director was also a Nephrologist and gave Bridgett the opportunity to work as a front office receptionist and later, as the office supervisor and medical biller for the multi-specialty practice. Right away, Bridgett knew that medical billing was what she wanted to do. She furthered her career by gaining experience in revenue cycle management. She worked for RCM companies and medical practices as an operations manager and director. She then took her decades of knowledge and experience and went out on her own. She started TYRUS Health to provide a higher level of service to medical providers, their staff and their patients nationwide. She resides in the pacific northwest, is married to her high school sweetheart and has 3 children, 1 grandchild and 2 dogs.

Operations Manager

Our Operations Manager began her career in healthcare in 2000 as a medical billing specialist at a respected local hospital. From the start, she found deep fulfillment in the work and knew it was a path she wanted to pursue long-term. Over the years, she expanded her expertise in the medical billing field, advancing into roles such as accounts receivable representative and ultimately taking on various leadership positions.

Betty brings decades of industry experience and a strong commitment to excellence in her work here at TYRUS Health. She is known for her dedication to advocating for both medical providers and their patients, working diligently to ensure accuracy, fairness, and positive outcomes. Betty resides in the Pacific Northwest, has 1 child, and 2 dogs.
